I am really sorry I didn't get more pictures of all the activities that were taking place during this celebration. We had such fine demonstrations performed by some wonderful people and excellent horses. We had In Hand horses, Walk Trot exhibitors, hunters and jumpers, dressage demonstrations, reining horses, harness horses, carriage horses, western horses and saddleseat demonstrations. It was a very ambitious undertaking, and was done to perfection. I got a chance to meet a lot of visitors who were very impressed with what they saw at the open house. And that is what it is all about and makes it all worth while.

Triplesweet Trinity attended the "Celebrate the Morgan" event and was the Offical Greeter at the door.
Nothing warms up a crowd like a baby horse, especially if they can touch it. The contact makes it a personal
event and the visitors feel included and comfortable. Everyone involved in the event was wearing
some sort of sign, button or tattoo to identify themselves as a Morgan cast member,
so visitors always knew who to turn to with questions, comments and conversation.

Karen Myers attended and did a wonderful and VERY impressive presentation on Reining Horses.
Of all the horses on the grounds....Trinity found these the most interesting and wanted to follow them everywhere.
I think even she was impressed with all their athletic ability.

This reining session concluded with audience participation, who all couldn't wait to "sit and spin".
We had a lot of dizzy people in the crowd following this class. A lot of Annie Oakleys were born today
and left singing "Mustang Sally" thanks to DJ extraordinaire....Harry Sebring.

Our Berkshire Morgan Youth group did a wonderful job of setting up the round pen as a youth activity center,
complete with games, craft center, saddle stations and more. They had a lot of customers too
competing for the candy prizes and making Morgan Christmas decorations.
Overall....it was a great day......and a very successful promotion.
Morgan owners "Celebrate" them everyday.....but we need to remember to involve the public more often.
