TripleSweet Intennsity
(UVM Tennyson x Meyer Sweet Splendor)
Filly . Foaled April 2004. Black with left rear white pastern/fetlock.
"Tess" is only the 3rd registered black foal sired by UVM Tennyson. She placed 3rd as a weanling in the very competitive Vermont State Morgan Futurity in 2004. And she was pinned Reserve Champion Yearling in the Vermont State Morgan Futurity in 2005!! She has a strong hip and nice length of neck. Based on growth patterns of her siblings and bloodlines this filly should mature to 15 hands or over. She is VERY pretty and EXTREMELY intelligent. Smart enough to do anything you ask and then some.
We are in no hurry to sell this filly because we really like her. There are a lot of signs being given here which make us want to keep her for our own use and future breeding. But we also know she is highly intelligent and physically capable of doing well for anyone, so we have no hesitation in offering her with confidence. Until we change our mind, she is offered at $4,500.
She is all Morgan!! Must be seen to appreciate.

Shazam's Midnight Madness
(Shazam x Rimlo Black Echo)
Mare. Foaled July 1999. Black. 14.1 hands.
"Midnight" is very well started under saddle. Received 90 days of professional training when she was green and this has been followed by constant and regular reinforcement. She is performing vey nicely as a hunter right now and could easily go western if desired with more hours and change of focus. She loves to explore on the trails and doesn't spook in or around new environments. Currently being ridden and shown locally. Very accepting of youth riders as she is exercised by a 10 and 12 year old. This mare is happiest when working so if you like to ride you could make each other very happy. For those interested in old blood, this mare is a rare find in a young package.
Offered to a good and approved home at $6,000.
For more information and her breeding please see her on our horses page by clicking here.

The R Legacy Elegant N Black is JUST that!! Dam is: Cin-O-Rama Super Model by The Millionaire. Sire is: Hillfield Nightrider (Shaker’s Destry )Also Troutbrook Playboy and UVM Flash. Ellie has lots of confidence and trust. She loves to be led on walks. Ellie’s tail always goes up and over her back with lots of expression. Sometimes even at a walk. She has that “look at me” spirit. Very intelligent. Imprinted at birth, she is a joy to work with. She is solid BLACK, the only white on her is her two inside back heels. She has a beautiful head and attractive all around.Personable yet bold....Easy yet showyAthletic, Smart and definitely "Elegant" make this filly an excellent investment at $4,500.

Services Now Offered
Websites Photography Graphics
With over 20 years of computer programming experience and counting, we are somewhat embarressed that it has taken us so long to produce a website for ourselves. But if you read our "About Us" page you will understand why it hasn't been a priority.
Needless to say, if you are interested, it won't take us that long to produce one for you. (We actually put this site together in haste as we decided to launch it with the announcement of one of our latest foals. So be sure to check back as it evolves and reflects more of the options we can provide for you.) We are now offering professional website design, development and hosting services for personal, business and most importantly...equine use. We can work with your image and style or help you create one. This site was designed to reflect our personality and approach to our horses, but whatever your business, purpose, style or intent we can design an effective site that delivers your message and supports your goals.
For examples of sites we have developed please visit: www.Blackthornemorgans.com or www.Daisybakers.com or www.Pintoandhobbs.com or www.Flintlockfarm.com
Going hand in hand with that we also offer our photography and graphics services for those looking for an inexpensive alternative to assist with any of your promotion and marketing projects. We have been doing standard and equine photography for friends for over 20 years. We not only enjoy meeting new people and seeing new and beautiful horses, but love to help capture their essence and spirit with a lasting photo. We will travel to work at your home or show to get the photos you need and deserve. For just a few examples of what we can do for you, please see some sample photos we have included on this site by clicking here. A larger sample of photos and a complete website / photography page are in the making so please visit us again for those updates.
We know the expense of having, training and/or showing horses sometimes doesn't leave much in the budget for these extra niceties. But we also know there are a lot of good people and horses out there who need to be seen, promoted and preserved. So we offer our services with this in mind and it is reflected in our pricing.
For additional information, or to discuss any of these services, please contact us via the information on our "Contacts" page.
